The Catheter Lab (Cardiac Catheter Lab) Registered Nurse will be responsible for monitoring patient’s vitals, procedural sedatives, assisting doctors, technicians, nurses and patients.

Summary:
Responsible for planning, organizing, and directing patient care in accordance with established standards and skill competency.
Responsibilities include:
• Monitoring patient’s vital signs and procedural sedatives.
• Assisting doctors, technicians, nurses and patients.
• Charting
• Ordering supplies.
• Stocking.
• Transporting.
• Patient care
Essential Qualifications:
• One to three years of clinical experience in a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
Qualifications include:
• Must possess a current license or a temporary practice permit to practice professional nursing in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
• Appropriate clinical experience with a thorough knowledge of the scientific principles of nursing and professional nursing standards, developed skill in delivering nursing care, and the ability to adapt to individual needs.
• A fundamental understanding of personal computers and familiarity with the Windows operating system.
• The ability to successfully complete a competency-based orientation and annual competency testing of skills and knowledge necessary to provide care to specific patient populations.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
